Torti Winery & Their Charity Support
Award winning Italian winery Torti L’Eleganza del Vino (founded in 1910) and British Musician Tony Moore have launched a special collaboration, a signature label of wines that celebrate America’s Iconic ROUTE 66 whilst also benefiting The TRUANTS FOUNDATION with a percentage from each bottle sold in the UK.
With unique labels designed by Tony and an exclusive license to use the brand “ROUTE 66” Worldwide, the wines bring something different and original to the marketplace.
The collaboration between Tony and the Torti Family was born from a mutual love of music and desire to embody the “Rock and Roll” spirit of freedom in all they do. With that sentiment firmly in mind, they have now signed an agreement to give a % of all the wines sold in the UK to The Truants Foundation which raises money for various children’s charities.
IN TONYS WORDS “I am very proud to partner with the Torti Family and The Truants Foundation and be able to create this selection of amazing Award-Winning Wines with labels that carry my name. Music has been so important in my life and the chance to also support charities that are very close to my heart with sales of “ROUTE 66” is very exciting.”
At the recent Milano Wine Week, “ROUTE 66 by Tony Moore” was introduced to the world via a unique tasting that included live music performances from Tony in between each wine presentation and tasting.
Tony Moore is an award winning singer/songwriter and musician with a long and electric career in the music business. He has played in many bands including Cutting Crew (I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight) and experienced many solo successes whilst touring the world. He continues to make and release his own music as well as working to help new and emerging artists to develop their careers and reach a higher level.
The Torti Winery is a family run business with a proud 111 year history since 1910. It's been run by generations of the same family throughout. Current owner Dino Torti’s Father and Grandfather have previously held ownership of this prestigious Italian wine production company, and through Dino the legacy continues.
